Where are you based Quinny?
I'm based in Cronulla and occasionally on the South Coast NSW , but my works takes me all over Australia, from the South Coast to the Southern Highlands, from Sydney to the Hunter Valley to Perth! I have no limits to travel when it comes to my art!
I can't find your packages Joel?
That's because I don't have set packages my friends! My business is very personal to me, and so are the packages I create for my new friends! I love to hear about your wedding day in detail before we talk packages and pricing! Every wedding is unique, and so are my photography packages!
Do you edit your images?
Of course I do! Images taken on DSLR cameras are flat and dull when you shoot them. It takes some editing to create pieces of art!
I love editing and I spend quite some time on my clients photographs. Most wedding photographers i've come across just use presets to quicly batch edit, which is careless. I edit every single image to the absolute best of my ability. If that takes 2 hours for one photo, so be it!
Processing an take a max of 2-4 months depending on the season and how busy I am.
How many images do I receive?
For a half day, around the 250 - 350 mark, and for a full day, around the 500 - 700! It just depends on the size of your wedding day!
But you took over 1000 - 3000 images on the day, why can't I have them?
Sorry friends! 99% of the time, shots are just doubles, just to make sure I've got the shot! I also cull the unusable images like blinking, bad exposures, out of focus shots, and the notorious "double chinned" angle! Haha.
Why are you so freaking expensive Joely boy?!
I'm not! Haha!
Photography might seem like it's all fun and games, or that i'm charging a zillion dollars for a few hours work, but the reality of it is it's 90% planning, marketing, general business (Emails and junk), editing and a measly 10% is actual photography!
Basically, I hit my quota year round, so I’m not really in a position where I need to chase the dollars. If clients love what I create and can afford me, awesome!
